On 7 March 2025, the Hellenic Copyright Organization will celebrate its 30th anniversary by organizing an international conference with the title “Copyright in the Spotlight”.
This year’s 17th Session of WIPO Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE), held in Geneva from 4 to 6 February, included a variety of topics on awareness raising on IP and online piracy and enforcement.
On January 29, 2025, the U.S. Copyright Office released the second part of its Report on the legal and policy issues related to copyright and artificial intelligence (AI), after taking into account more than 10,000 responsive comments in the relevant consultation as well as current technological developments.
Independent experts present the second draft of the General-Purpose AI Code of Practice, based on the feedback received on the first draft, published on 14 November 2024.

The Council of the European Union, under the Hungarian Presidency, distributed a policy questionnaire to EU Member States in order to gather views and comments on the relationship between generative artificial intelligence and copyright and related rights. The revised summary highlights the need for clarity in copyright law regarding content generated by artificial intelligence, as well as the potential for new legislative measures.
