IMPF welcomed its members to Athens for the 2025 General Assembly and Conference, held on April 3 and 4. The event brought together independent music publishers from around the world to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, with IMPF President Annette Barrett opening the proceedings.
On Monday 8 April 2025, the HCO participated for the third time in a training workshop for teachers organized by the Department of Primary Education of Athens (5th Place) that took place at the 5th Primary School of Galatsi.
On April 4, 2025, an educational visit took place at the offices of HCO, involving professors and Ph. D candidates from the Law School of Stockholm University. The visit was organized at the request of Ms. Frantzeska Papadopoulou, Professor of Private Law at Stockholm University.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the HCO participated for the second time in a training workshop for teachers organized by the Department of Primary Education of Athens (5th Place) that took place at the 1st Primary School of Galatsi.
As part of the afternoon session of the International Conference “Copyright in the Spotlight,” held on March 7, 2025, the discussion focused on challenges and strategies in areas such as collective rights management, the impact of artificial intelligence on this field, and methods to combat online piracy.
The International Conference for the 30th anniversary of the Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO) titled “Copyright in the Spotlight”, was held on March 7, 2025, at the “Dimitrios Pandermalis” Auditorium in the Acropolis Museum. Distinguished personalities from across Europe gathered to examine the challenges and the future of copyright.
The request for a preliminary ruling was made by the Council of State in Belgium with a decision dated 31 August 2023, which was received by the Court on 15 September 2023, in the context of the case F.T., A.L., O.N. v. État belge, with the National Orchestra of Belgium as the intervening party.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and the Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO). The Memorandum was signed at the offices of the Rectorate of Panteion University in a cordial atmosphere.
