On Monday 26th of April, on occasion of the celebration of the World Intellectual Property Day, the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) Thessaloniki paid an online visit to the offices of the HCO. The visit took place in the framework of the ELSA action “Lawyers @ t Work”. It was opened with a greeting from Ms. Evangelia Vagena, Director of HCO, who also referred to the aims and activities of HCO. Ms. Eva Kokkinou, Head of HCO Information Department informed the visitors about the websites maintained by HCO while Ms. Eva Moustaka, Jurist, HCO briefed the visitors on issues of piracy and the Committee for the Notification of Copyright and Related Rights Infringement on the Internet (EDPPI).

On Thursday, March 18^th, the Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO) organized an educational webinar in cooperation with the Directorate for Secondary Education of Lesvos with the title “Copyright and Related Rights. Distance education and sources for legal content”.

On 03.03.2021 the HCO attended the WIPO ALERT- 4^th Stakeholders Meeting of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

On 25^th of February 2021 the HCO participated in a webinar organized by the Centre for Environmental Education (KPE) Elefsinas and the KPE Lavriou with the title “FOTO-grafo for the environment”.

A research by the European Parliament was published under the title “Cultural and creative sectors in post-COVID-19 Europe – crisis effects and policy recommendations”.

On 23^rd January the Hellenic Copyright Organization participated in the two-day webinar co-organized by the European School Radio and the 4th Regional Educational Planning Centre (PEKES) of Attica. The webinar was titled “Web Students’ Radio in Digital Education” and was addressed to educators of all levels in Greece and Cyprus.
