On Friday, 5th of November the Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO) participated in the 1st International Conference of Greek Orthodox Psaltic Art and Byzantine Music Community “Psaltiki 2.0”. The conference was organized by the Hellenic Federation of Chanters’ Associations (HEFECA) and the Trikala Chanters Association and was held at the Municipality of Trikala from Wednesday 3rd to Saturday 6th November 2021.
This is a two year program targeted at young (aged 35 years and under) and promising talent. It is designed to train them in the technical and policy aspects of IP, as well as nurture their ability to take on administrative and leadership roles. Through this program, participants will be groomed to contribute to the development of the innovation and creative ecosystems of their respective countries and regions, and eventually as the future global leaders of IP.
The purpose of this WIPO Good Practice Toolkit for CMOs (The Toolkit) is to compile examples of legislation, regulation and codes of conduct in the area of collective management of copyright and related rights from around the world and to distil them into examples of good practice.
On Tuesday 29 June 2021 a delegation from the General Directorate of Industrial Property of Albania (GDIP) visited the HCO offices.
EUIPO – Out of Commerce Works Portal
A new Out-Of-Commerce Works Portal has been launched today by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The European Commission issued a Guidance with the aim to support a correct and coherent transposition of Article 17 across the Member States.
On Friday 14th of April and Saturday 15th of April the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) of Athens is organizing a web conference with the title “Current issues of Intellectual property.
The Ministry of Culture and Sports issued a Ministerial Decision (Ref. 05.05.2021/198602) on “Establishment of a Working Group for the the implementation of Directives (EU) 2019/789 and 2019/790”.
