On the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day 2026, the Hellenic Copyright Organization is organizing an event titled:
“Intellectual Property and Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate!” on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 15:00 to 20:30 at the Olympic Museum of Athens (Golden Hall).
The event aims to highlight the crucial role of intellectual property in modern sports, with an emphasis on the challenges of the digital age, the protection of sports content, and the importance of innovation as a driver of growth.
Representatives of the State, international organizations, institutional bodies, as well as members of the academic and legal community will participate, shaping a meaningful dialogue on developments and prospects in the field.
The event aspires to become a meeting point for professionals and stakeholders, strengthening cooperation and the exchange of knowledge on critical issues linking sports and intellectual property.
