The Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO), in collaboration with the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI) and the collective management organizations for musical works in Greece — “AUTODIAXEIRISI,” “ENOSI DIKAIOUCHON EDEM,” “APOLLON,” “ERATO,” “GRAMMO,” and “GEA – GRAMMO, ERATO, APOLLON” — celebrates this year’s World Intellectual Property Day, established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), with a special event dedicated to music creation and its ecosystem.
The event will take place at Technopolis City of Athens, on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 12:00 to 19:00, at the M. Evert Auditorium, and it is dedicated to the connection between music and intellectual property. The aim is to inspire and inform the new generation of creators and performers about various aspects of music creation and production, the role of performers, the impact of artificial intelligence, new digital listening experiences, and much more. A musical surprise will follow at the end of the event!
