The Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO) and the National School of Judiciary signed a Memorandum of Educational cooperation on December 17th 2024, aiming to strengthen closer cooperation and ties between the two institutions.
The aim of the cooperation is the continuous training of serving judicial officers and court employees on intellectual property and related rights issues, with the specialized presentation and analysis of specific and complex relevant cases and issues, informing them about new case law, originating from both national and European courts, and monitoring recent relevant developments in EU and international organizations.
Specifically, the subject of this Memorandum is the implementation of joint educational activities and the mutual exchange of experiences and know-how in the fields of highlighting, presenting and analyzing issues of intellectual property and related rights, at national, EU and international levels, as well as the participation of HCO executives in the regular and extraordinary training seminars of the National School of Judiciary on issues that fall within its competence.
