The Hellenic Copyright Organization, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Education and Religious Affairs, organizes a PanHellenic Contest with the title “Copyright” in order to celebrate the World Intellectual Property Day (IP DAY), 26th April 2015.
Teachers and students of the fifth and sixth grade of Elementary Schools are eligible for the contest. The objective is to raise awareness among students about copyright and related rights.
The contest targets school teachers who will create and materialize in the classroom the most original project in the framework of the educational program about copyright and related rights. Such projects could include works of literature, songs, the designing of a poster, a photograph, the writing of a play, a video clip etc that will promote the importance of copyright. The designing and implementation of the project can be undertaken by one or more teachers. The deadline for submission of the projects will be the 26th of March 2015.
The evaluation of the submissions will be done by a committee, introduced by the Hellenic Copyright Organization for that purpose.
The presentation of award winning projects will take place in a special venue. Details about the procedure will be published shortly in the web site of the Hellenic Copyright Organization. You can submit your application to info@opi.gr or by post to “Hellenic Copyright Organization, 5 Metsovou str., 106 82, Athens, Greece”.
