On Friday 15 December 2023, students of the English-speaking LL.M. in International and European Legal Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) visited the offices of the HCO. On 8 December 2023 a meeting of the European Parliament took place, where MEPs reached a political agreement with the Council, which aims to ensure that fundamental rights, democracy, the rule of law and environmental sustainability are protected from high-risk AI, while strengthening innovation and making Europe a leader in the sector. The rules establish obligations for artificial intelligence based on its potential risks and level of impact.
On Thursday 7 December 2023, the Hellenic Copyright Organization participated online in the 2nd training workshop organized by PEKES Crete for the teachers of the 5th Section Primary Schools of Heraklion, Crete. The workshop with the title “Supporting teachers in the modern primary school” was attended by the teachers of the school units of Analipsis, Gouvon, Gournon, Junior Academy-Herronasios School, Elias, Episkopis, Kokkini Hani, and Hersonissos.
