The Joint Decision No. 404066 of the Ministers of National Economy and Finance and of Culture, pursuant to paragraph 6 of Article 43 of Law 4481/2017, as replaced by Article 83 of Law 5179/2025 (A’ 26), was published on September 15, 2026 (Official Government Gazette, Issue B’ 5577/15.09.2026).
According to the said Joint Decision, for the examination of the notification concerning potential breaches of the Law 2121/1993 or of the Law 4481/2017, a fee is deposited in favor of OPI (Hellenic Copyright Organization), which is determined as follows:
- a) Natural persons (individuals): 150 euros, and,
- b) Legal entities (companies/organizations etc.): 300 euros.
The payment of the fee as a condition for the admissibility of the notification under paragraph 1 of Article 43 of Law 4481/2017 before OPI applies and is in effect from the publication of the aforementioned decision, that is, from September 15, 2026 onwards.
