Launching of theLegalBay.gr web site
The Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO) launches the web site theLegalBay.gr on August 1st. The objective of this new web portal is to inform the public about online platforms that offer content that is protected under copyright law lawfully.

By decision of the Minister of Culture and Sports as published in the Official Gazette (series YODD, 345/7.6.2019,) Ms Evangelia Vagena has been appointed as the Director of the Hellenic Copyright Organization with a three-year term.

The first three decisions of the Committee for the Notification of Copyright and Related Rights Infringement on the Internet were issued, following the application submitted by a Collective Protection Organization for audiovisual works. The decisions have been published in the website of the Hellenic Copyright Organization and sent to internet service providers with a request to comply.
The President of the Committee for the Notification of Copyright and Related Rights Infringement on the Internet announces that as of Monday 3 September 2018 the Committee shall commence its operations and shall accept all applications for protection from Copyright and Related Rights Infringement on the Internet.
