The Hellenic Copyright Organization organises and invites you to attend a webinar entitled “Like Company – and related EU level developments in the world of AI and copyright”, featuring keynote speaker Ted Shapiro, Expert in international and European copyright law, Partner and Head of Brussels office, Wiggin.

This webinar is the fourth episode of the Copyright Global Talks series, which launched successfully in 2025.

During his presentation, Ted Shapiro will look at recent AI and copyright related developments in the EU including the pending Like case before the CJEU, emerging case law from the Member States, the recent EP Report (‘Copyright and generative artificial intelligence – opportunities and challenges’), the impact of the AI Act, licensing models and other challenges and opportunities.

Ted advises clients across all content sectors on complex copyright issues and other matters that arise in the context of commercial transactions, policy debates and litigation. Recently, Ted attended the Like hearing in Luxembourg.

The online event will take place on Thursday, 28 May 2026, 12:00 – 13:00 (Greek time), via Zoom.
