On 27 February 2026, the HCO carried out an educational visit for the 2nd grade students of the 9th Gymnasium of Patras, following an invitation by the School Director, Ms Martha Nikoletsea, and the teacher responsible for the Skills Workshops course, Ms Nikoletta Skremmyda.
During the visit, Ms Maria G. Sinanidou, Lawyer and Scientific Associate of the HCO, presented key concepts of copyright protection, as well as issues related to the lawful use of content in the school and digital environment.
Students and the teacher actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about:
• the use of works on social media,
• the rights of copyright heirs,
• as well as copyright exceptions in relation to educational activities.
