The Hellenic Copyright Organization and the University of Patras inaugurate their new educational collaboration and organize a lecture titled: “Copyright in the Scientific Community” on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30, at the Ceremony Hall of the University of Patras.
Greetings will be addressed by the Rector of the University of Patras, Professor Mr. Ch. Bouras, the Deputy Minister of Culture Mr. Iason Fotilas, as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO), Emeritus Professor Mr. P. Tsiris.
Speakers will include the HCO’s Acting Director Ms. Maria Dafne Papadopoulou, Ms. Maria Sinanidou, Lawyer and Scientific Associate of the HCO, and Ms. Eva Moustaka, Lawyer at the HCO.
The lecture by HCO officials will aim, among other things, to inform and foster dialogue on copyright and related rights, the proper use of works within the educational process, and the importance of protecting creativity.
It is addressed to students, teaching and research staff, as well as to the library staff of the University of Patras.
