On Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the “Sakis Karagiorgas” Auditorium of Panteion University, a scientific event will be held on the topic “Intellectual Property in the Digital Age”, within the framework of the MoC between Panteion University and the Hellenic Copyright Organization.
The event aims to present the fundamental principles of intellectual property from the perspective of the modern digital cultural ecosystem, public governance, and academic research. By linking the core principles of law with practical digitization practices in museums, open licensing tools, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, and issues of lawful use in academia, the presentations aim to provide an understanding of the framework that enables legal access to and use of cultural heritage while respecting intellectual property rights.
