Webinar on “Copyright Law and Artificial Intelligence – The AIPPI International Resolution”

The Hellenic Copyright Organization cordially invites you to an online event on “Copyright Law and Artificial Intelligence – The AIPPI International Resolution” with keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann, LL.M. (Cambridge), specialized attorney in Copyright, Media, and Industrial Property Law (Germany), Honorary Professor at Humboldt-University Berlin, and Chair of the Plenary Session at the AIPPI World Congress 2025 on the Resolution “Copyright & AI”.

Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann will present the AIPPI Resolution adopted in Yokohama in September 2025, addressing the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (ΑΙ) and Copyright Law. The Resolution examines both the use of copyright-protected works for AI training and the implications of copyright law for AI-generated outputs.

The online event will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 (Greece time) via the Zoom platform, and you can register here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

The presentation will be delivered in English, without interpretation.

The event is held under the auspices of the Greek group of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property). AIPPI is a global, non-governmental, non-profit organization with more than 8,000 members in 110 countries. Its mission is to promote and harmonize the protection, development, and improvement of industrial property and copyright  law at the international level.
