On February 9, 2023, a workshop under the title: "Copyright for Open Science" Open Access C4OS: A global perspective, was held at the Onasis Foundation. The Hellenic Copyright Organization was represented by the acting Director Mrs. Maria Dafne Papadopoulou as a speaker who cited the EU legal framework to facilitate research through exceptions and limitations.

The event was addressed to those who deal with the issue of knowledge transfer, open access and the institutions of production and dissemination of knowledge in society.

It was conducted in English and the main theme was the search for a way to create an intellectual property system that can combine the most open access to scientific information and the need for economic viability of the university publishing ecosystem.
