WIPO presented a global survey on the perception, awareness and attitudes of the general population with respect to intellectual property rights (WIPO Pulse - Global intellectual property perception survey 2023).

WIPO Pulse is the first survey in the world to examine the awareness and perceptions of the population regarding intellectual property (IP) on an international scale. The results provide insights based on the responses of 25,000 people in 50 countries in the following regions: a) Western Europe and other countries, b) Latin America and the Caribbean, c) Eastern Europe, d) Asia Pacific, e) Africa.
